Unveiling a captivating fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, Viva La Luna showcases a range of genres including Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Drum n Bass, Jungle, House, and Vaporwave. With a passion for experimentation, Ataç draws from the music he loves from both sides of the globe, crafting a sound that is both innovative and culturally rich. 

His musical journey began in late 2013 under various aliases like Asme, where he focused on old-school Hip-Hop, and Lunar Funktion, which delved into old-school Jungle.

However, it was with the release of his debut album Luna in 2016 that Viva La Luna took its first steps. Over the years, Viva La Luna has evolved into a project known for its bold experimentation, fearlessly blending styles and cultural motifs.

In 2023, Viva La Luna bid farewell with the poignant release of Retrospective. This compilation brought together unreleased materials and favorite SoundCloud works from the years 2016 to 2019, serving as a nostalgic journey through the project's evolution. It also signified his decision to close the chapter on Viva La Luna.

While Retrospective marked the end of Viva La Luna, the future remains uncertain. 

He contemplates returning to his roots with the Asme persona, introducing a new alias, or possibly reconsidering the decision to retire Viva La Luna. The only constant is the artist's commitment to pushing boundaries and challenging musical norms.
